Me too!

Karalee: “Mom, why does Jace have a scar and I don’t?”

Jace: “Well, Sailor has a scar like me.”

❤️❤️❤️

It has been such a gift to have met this sweet girl and her family in the NICU 4 years ago.

God knew that Jace needed a “me too” friend.

It can be so isolating to feel like we are alone in a situation. There’s so much comfort that comes from having a friend say, “I understand, me too.”

I think that one of the biggest lies the enemy of our souls tells us is that we are alone. No one understands, no one can relate, we are the only ones who feel this way, it’s better to be alone, don’t talk to anyone about our struggles…

These things are lies that only dig us into a deeper pit of fear and isolation.

Who do you need to talk to today that may be able to relate and say “me too”?

I’m so thankful that Sailor and Jace have each other to support and relate with one another. They are both single ventricle kids who have overcome SO much already in their lives! Having a friend that understands is truly a gift! 🎁
