February is heart month and CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) Awareness month, so I wanted to tell you a little bit about my heart warrior.

Jace is fierce. He has the heart of a Lion, with Almighty God as his healer!

At nine months old, he has had 2 open heart surgeries, 5 chest tubes, 4 pacer wires, 2 central lines and a special heart that has changed me forever.

He loves to give kisses, loves to clap, loves everything his sister does, loves Daddy’s beard. You would never know Jace has had such a rough start to life unless you lift up his shirt. He has a scar on his chest and a smile on his face.

I cannot wait to see how God uses the challenges Jace has faced to strength him as a man of God, and also strengthen others that get to see his life.
